I could not have said it better myself. That treaty was the demise of this country and every other country under it. That treaty has been used by the unwanteds to harvest the wealth of the People. As far as the 16th, it confered no new taxing authority, See US v. Baltic Minning Co. The taxing authority came from the SS Act of 1935, see sections 801, 802, 803 and 804. AJ
