What boggles the mind is why didn't they suspend the calls when the civil complaints were handed down? They should have known this was coming. All they did was give the government even more evidence!

Boggle it does.  The more scammers we see indicted the more evident it becomes that we're not dealing with the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Banners?.......Banners had nothing to do with this. He was accused for being a paid liar. He lied to boost the sales of dinar and to defraud investors! It does not matter if he had a banner. these banners actually have nothing to do with his CRIMINAL charges. They don't throw you in jail for having banners on your website.

You're right, there's obviously no inherent problem in having advertising banners, but is there a problem with having banners and being a massive liar?

If a site owner is telling flat out lies and nonsense about the dinar, but just selling "random" advertisements via Google ads, is that legal?  It certainly isn't moral.  We all know that Google isn't random, they're going to put up a dinar ad over 50% of the time.  The only difference between a liar that's paid directly by a dinar dealer, and someone that's paid indirectly by dinar dealers via Google ads, is that one has a morally (and I hope, legally) irrelevant intermediary.  Morally irrelevant for certain, but is it legally relevant?  I don't know, because I'm not a lawyer, but it certainly should be.

I mean, if that were totally legal and above board I could just start a forum full of every lie in the book about (Company X), someone else (probably a buddy of mine) start an "advertising company" that all they do is act as an intermediary for advertising dollars from (Company X).  And then everything is kosher, right?  Pretty sure that's wrong, and is 100% illegal.  Which would mean that anyone that has ever said anything false about the dinar (which is every site owner that has ever existed), and has taken advertising dollars for the dinar (regardless of whether they've been "laundered" through Google ads), could be criminally and financially liable.

That's my only hope for some of the "smarter" dinar pimps getting busted sooner or later.  And they certainly should be.  And there's one in particular that for many years has played things very coy and loose, letting others do his lying for him, and trying (but occasionally failing, to be honest) not to say anything that was a flat out lie. And I would guess that most people can probably figure out who I'm talking about.

In TerryKs case, it's very obviously not the banners that did him in.  But it could be for others.  I hope, anyway.

Thanks, Marcus.  Maybe seeing the amount of money TerryK received will get some people to thinking.....  really thinking about how they have been played for fools by these people.

Thanks....  But there's a lot of others that do more than I do.  Without everyone pitching in and doing what they do best, it would just be an exercise in futility.
