Re: No More Dinars
So, somebody draw some accurate conclusions from this. We can ALL speculate that this means something, but in reality, WHAT?
Who really knows what this means?
Why is this such GOOD NEWS? I can speculate with the best of 'em till the cows come home.
Does this mean the RV is imminent because the UST or CBI is not providing currency to the banks?
Does this mean the RV is imminent because the value is about to change and they want to make their fees on the exchange at the new rate?
Does this mean they just don't want anybody else to make any money?
What does it really mean? Can anyone who is a manager in the banking industry give us a REAL assessment?
All the responses to this otherwise is all speculation from people like me who don't really know....sorry, but true.
However, I hope the positive speculation is RIGHT. We just need to keep things in perspective.

Re: No More Dinars
A bank employee let the cat out of the bag and told what was in the memo to the banks about stop selling IQD and VND, it also stated cash in by Nov. 4th. I will not name bank or town, the employees at banks can not do their daily work for so many calling. The memo also stated $3+. But like everything else we are hearing very good intel, but something seems to always stop the RV. Just hang in there it will come.

Re: No More Dinars
ECOE- Your info nailed it. I went to my branch this AM and no can't buy any more IQD. As for last night, yes wee a little slow in West Texas, I told ya it takes a little longer for information to reach us. Man I hope this is good signs for the RV/RI. This would pretty much make a good ending to the week.

Re: No More Dinars
OK what I am seeing in all these posts that have states listed in them is that banks in Texas have stopped selling Dinar. Banks in OK stopped selling awhile back. I am in WA and Wells Fargo, and BOA up here have never sold dinar I was told by both banks it was too unstable of a currency. So can it be confirmed that other states banks are also not selling?

Re: No More Dinars
Hello all,
I went to Liberty Bank here in Arkansas to buy my weekly of dinar. The gal walked up, woops, almost run to me and stated that "there is to be no selling of dinar (Iraq) at all!! and this went out to all Arkansas Banks as of Last Monday, the day they got the memo. She also said....nothing, but, "thats all I can say!" WHAT???????? She is just too cute, 24, Brunette, Blue eyes, nice smile, just a doll, anyway,
Then I am hearing the same thing in Texas. Anybody else?
I enjoyed those visits with her. She is invested, thanks to me. Just could'nt pass it up.

Re: No More Dinars
I'll vouch for what your saying with Chase. Before Chase, WAMU was great. Chase didn't change anything for about 4-months after they acquired WAMU, then one day, "Whamoo", Chase changed everything and even the employees hate it there.

Re: No More Dinars
What an excellent post, ECOE. Absolutely chock full of useful information. It's worth referring back to more than once.
I did just want to make one teensy little correction, if I may. I'm not sure what the other dinar dealers are doing, but I've heard Ty of DinarBanker.com interviewed 3 times now. Each time he has stated that their fee will be $150 PER TRANSACTION, not per million. It may sound like picking nits, but the difference in $$$ might add up in cases where someone had several million dinars to cash in.
Thanks again for all your great information.

Keep smiling ... It'll make 'em wonder what you're up to!
Will someone please let the RV Widget out of the jar?

SEBtopdog - EXCELLENT!
I was hoping someone would pick up on that and clarify... I wasn’t quite sure about this...
I’ll edit my post - Nice Work!
Prosperous regards.
yes, TY has stated many times his fee will be $150 per transaction. Simply stated if you have 25 dinar or 25 million, the cost for each wire-transfer or cashiers check is $150.
EXAMPLE: If you wanted to send funds to let's say 4 accounts or have 4 checks issued in various amounts. The fees would be $150 x 4 = $600...nuff said...lol

Re: No More Dinars
OK I called two different branches of Chase near me and they both said that they sold dinar, but both said at this time that they have stopped selling it and they did not know why other than they cant get it anymore. This is in Washington state.

Re: No More Dinars
This probably doesn't have anything to do with the RV, but it seems my bank will be closing all it's service centers early tomorrow for an employee meeting.
