He said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency ( NINA ): "The prime minister's visit to Saudi Arabia came after continuous communication and coordination between the leaderships of the two countries over the past six years and to this day, which culminated in the opening of the border crossings and the establishment of the coordination council between the two brotherly countries."

He explained, "The visit resulted in a new addition represented by the Joint Investment Fund, which represents a good and positive sign in financing strategic investment projects that work to maximize economic ties between the two countries and bring investment markets in the two countries closer to each other."

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi visited Saudi Arabia yesterday, Wednesday, which lasted for one day, and returned to Baghdad yesterday noon.
