The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Brussels, Sadiq al-Rikabi, met with the Deputy Assistant Secretary-General of NATO for Operations, Mr. Parch Jonnen. In the meeting, the outcomes of the NATO Council meeting were discussed at the level of defense ministers of member states, which was held by default on 6/18/2020, the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and NATO, providing support to Iraq in its war against terrorism, and facing the Corona pandemic.
The two sides affirmed the continuous exchange of meetings to enhance cooperation and joint work.
