The Minister of Planning, Prof. Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najem met today, Wednesday, the ladies and gentlemen chief accountants, doctors, auditors, dentists, engineers, lawyers, pharmacists, chemists, academics, geologists, medical professionals, and the president of the General Union for Cooperation.

The Minister affirmed that the aim of this meeting came to discuss and strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the Ministry and the unions, which represent broad and important segments of the economic, academic and scientific activities, indicating the Ministry's endeavor to benefit from these unions in support of development trends, especially with regard to Concerning supporting the private sector, and creating more job opportunities for youth, indicating that among the basic directions of the Ministry of Planning in the next stage is to study the Iraqi labor market in an in-depth manner, and to achieve the required balance between education outcomes and the need for this market from various scientific specializations, and the optimal investment of water Respond to mankind, so as to improve the level of services provided to citizens.

For their part, the women and gentlemen of the captains expressed their high appreciation for the Minister's initiative, which is to open channels of communication and joint cooperation, expressing their full readiness to participate actively in supporting the Ministry's directions aimed at setting development policies concerned with human development, and achieving balance and partnership between the public and private sectors.

The meeting, which was attended by Mrs. Undersecretary of the Minister of Planning, Dr. Azhar Hussain Saleh, discussed a number of issues and files related to the work of unions, and their role in supporting development in Iraq.
