Economy News - Baghdad

On Sunday, the Ministry of Planning confirmed that the most important priorities for the Ministry's work are to implement the population census for the current year.

The Minister of Planning, Nuri al-Dulaimi, said in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News" that "implementing the census is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Planning for this year" because of its great importance at various levels.

The statement added that the population census "will provide a comprehensive and complete database on developmental reality, and thus will help to develop economic plans that contribute to improving the service and living reality of the population."
