Al-Salami added that despite all the challenges and precise circumstances that our Arab nation is going through, the Palestinian issue remains the first and central issue for the Arab world, stressing that the Arab Parliament continues to support the Palestinian people and support them in defending their land and adhering to their legitimate rights, until the establishment of its independent state with its capital, the city of Jerusalem.

The Arab Parliament Speaker expressed the Parliament’s solidarity with the brotherly Libyan people, welcoming the declaration of the ceasefire and calling on all parties to abide by it.

Concerning the situation in Iraq, the President of the Arab Parliament said, “We are following with great concern the developments of the situation in the Republic of Iraq,” stressing that the security and stability of Iraq is an integral part of the security and stability of the region, pointing to the Arab Parliament’s rejection of all external interference in Iraq’s internal affairs and making it an arena for regional and international conflict and

In his speech during his participation in the plenary session, the Minister stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its keen interest in the unity, sovereignty and integrity of Arab lands, and its rejection of any prejudice or interference that threatens its stability, noting that the Kingdom is making efforts to ensure access to political solutions to crises in Syria, Yemen, and Libya, And Sudan.

Prince Bin Farhan pointed out that “our region and the world at large are facing major security challenges. Some Arab countries have been subjected to sinful acts of terrorism and destabilizing foreign interference,” pointing to the endeavor by all security, political and legal means to fight terrorism and warn of its danger.

The Saudi Foreign Minister pointed out that the economic side has an active role in strengthening relations between our Arab countries, and that the issue of Arab integration and the common Arab market is one of the most important issues facing joint Arab action that must be sought in light of regional and international economic blocs.
For his part, Mr. Aqeela Saleh, Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, reviewed developments in Libya.

In his speech at the plenary session, Saleh called on the Arab parliament to withdraw recognition from the presidential council of the reconciliation government because of its violations of the constitutional declaration and the political agreement concluded in Skhirat in the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as supporting the Libyan people's efforts in combating terrorism and countering Turkish interference, stressing that the parliament is the legal body in Libya, and any agreements without its approval are not considered, stressing that any agreement signed without the approval of the House of Representatives is void and has no effect.

The Speaker of the Libyan Parliament noted that the problem is in the absence of Arab initiatives, as we did not benefit from lessons and past lessons, and we have not taken steps that make our nation capable of facing challenges, indicating that the Libyan people realized the seriousness of what is being tried against it, and chose the parliament in fair elections, The foundations of armed forces that have succeeded in clearing most of the country from terrorism and villages will free the kidnapped capital.

Saleh pointed out that the Mediterranean Sea has become a focal point of an international conflict by signing a maritime border agreement with a country that is not a neighbor to Libya, in a move considered contrary to international law, stressing that continuing to recognize the Presidential Council is ignoring the will of the Libyans, ignoring accepting the legitimacy of the parliament and returning to new colonialism.

Then the President of the Arab Parliament extended his thanks to the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament and the Saudi Foreign Minister for their active participation in the plenary session.
