Baghdad / Nina / Leader of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, called for: "Holding a regional conference leading the entire region to the shores of peace."
"We are living in a stage that is the most dangerous in the history of Iraq and the region, as one of the results of the escalation that we warned against," Allawi said in a tweet on Twitter.
He added: "We previously called and reiterated our call today to hold a regional conference that leads the entire region to the shores of peace."
Allawi stressed that "the wisdom and balance is the most important, and the priority is to preserve Iraq and the Iraqis and their stability, and the dimensions of the war and its effects." / End 9
