Parliamentary law continues its discussions of the House of Representatives election law A24I6974-800x445

The Legal Committee held a meeting chaired by MP Repwar Hadi, Chairman of the Committee, and its members attended today, Sunday 15/12/2019, to discuss the House of Representatives bill.
The meeting, which was held at the committee’s headquarters in the House of Representatives, in the presence of a number of women representatives and representatives of various representative committees, discussed the articles and paragraphs of the draft law, opinions and proposals submitted on it, including the age and testimony of the candidate, as well as the number of members of the next Parliament in addition to the mechanism for calculating the quota of women and the type of electoral district that will be adopted .
The committee affirmed its keenness to resolve the discussions on the law to enact a law that gives equal opportunities for candidates to advance the democratic process.
