AdminBill doubts TNT Tony's Intel Today

I read the TNT comment today and felt it must be discussed. This is a subject brought up several times in the past that has been debunked by those I trust. I have no doubt that someone passed the SKR story on to Tony but, as Tony said in the past, who does that make sense to?
What bank with any brains would fork out that kind of money backed up by a collateral that has no current value? To say it is stupid would be an understatement IMO. To say it was against banking regulation is probably closer to the point
