A member of the Iraqi Economic Council Ghadir al-Attar, Tuesday, that the government's support for the private sector will reduce unemployment in Iraq.

Al-Attar said in a statement received by Alsumaria News a copy of it that "the private sector has a significant and important role in reducing unemployment rates by investing opportunities in the country," stressing that " Iraq is full of investment opportunities that will reduce unemployment rates significantly."

Al-Attar pointed to the "need to support the Iraqi government private sector to revitalize its role significantly to the existence of solid companies have proven their work prominently during the past years."

And Attar that "the government's orientation towards supporting the private sector need to legislate laws in support of this trend," demanding "political blocs to approve laws that will increase investment in the country, most importantly the law of partnership between the public and private sectors ."
