The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, on Sunday, a congratulatory message to the Dawa Party and Nuri al-Maliki on the occasion of his renewal as Secretary-General of the party.
The Prime Minister of the region in his message: «Brothers in the Islamic Dawa Party, brother Nuri al-Maliki, peace be upon you .. I bless you the success of your conference, and renew to you as Secretary General of the Islamic Dawa Party».
"I hope that this will be the impetus for the establishment of a new era in relations with the Kurdistan Region, in light of the positive atmosphere prevailing now."
"We hope the Dawa Party will play a role in consolidating and stabilizing that atmosphere, which will positively reflect the long-term relationship between Arbil and Baghdad and achieve prosperity for Iraq in general," he said.
