The committee of services and reconstruction under the chairmanship of MP Walid al-Sahlani and the presence of its members on Monday 8/7/2019 hosted the Minister of Communications Dr. Naeem Thajil al-Rubaie.

The hosting discussed the ministry's future plan in the administration and development and the designation of the citizen corruption in the communications files since the Ministry's appropriation, and address the problems and obstacles to carry out reforms in public utilities.

They also discussed the quality of services for the Internet and communications provided to citizens provided by private companies ISP, and the electronic system to receive complaints of citizens regarding the quality of prices to see the extent of their commitment to the directives of the ministry in this aspect and reduce the prices of Internet packages, in addition to the file capacity and smuggling.

The services and reconstruction committee asked for answers by the Minister of Communications during the hosting in respect of the Japanese loan and the exceptions received, clarifications and payment deadline, as well as the companies implementing the infrastructure in various areas related to the telecommunications sector and services.

Based on the regulatory responsibility, the Services and Construction Committee hosted the Minister of Communications to review the Ministry's work plan and the current challenges in Iraq, especially the Ministry of Communications, and listened to a detailed explanation of the telecommunications services provided and the deterioration in them.

The Services and Reconstruction Committee affirms the Ministry's support in combating corruption, Communications, which are connected to some companies benefiting from outside the ministry, and to achieve quality and improve the services and the process of controlling the gates of the Internet and address the smuggling through these gates.

It also supports the 4G project as an advanced technology, as well as follow up the important needs with regard to the budget of the Ministry of Communications and support infrastructure in various regions of Iraq, which was authorized through the ladies and gentlemen members of the Committee during the hosting and review and perform all services at the level of Iraq and support professional companies In providing quality service to the people.
