"The Speaker of the House of Representatives received today, Jeffrey and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Toller," Halbusi's office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.
He added that "the meeting discussed the situation and developments in the region, and coordination in files of common interest; to enhance security and stability."
"The meeting discussed the importance of the continuation of the international coalition to provide support to the Iraqi security forces in the fight against terrorism, the file of securing the border, and defeat defeatist and reaffirm the commitment to the sovereignty of Iraq, and discussed the conditions of women and children in the camps of displacement and the need to rehabilitate them, Is one of the reasons for the emergence of extremist ideology, and work to return the displaced to their areas, and provide the necessary services to enable them to return.
For his part, Jeffrey expressed his country's continued support for Iraq, standing by its side in the face of economic and security challenges, and supporting its stability and sovereignty.

President of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi discussed Sunday with the US envoy to Iraq and Syria James Jeffrey the file of securing the borders and defeating the organization "calling" final.
