As directed by Prime Minister Mr. Adil Abd Al-Mahdi, the government issued a report on the implementation of its programme 2018-2022.
The report covers the period from October 2018, when the government came to office, to April 2019.
The report provides an overview of what has been implemented from the government programme, identifies obstacles that may impede the completion of several projects and outlines measures to address them.
Iraqi officials say that the report, the first of its kind to be issued by an Iraqi government, is an important measure to strengthen transparency and for holding the government accountable before the Iraqi people and their parliamentary representatives
