Allawi is a change, whether that is good or bad, we will have to wait and see…. I didn't even know the governor was a concern until an hour ago, and hope that is the last item of concern.

IMO education minister is/was not what we we’re needing, it was the Gov of CBI and now we have that, ray just shared... that was the biggie

Of note from yesterday's call found clearly in the call notes: Nothing is affecting the RV. It is done, it is on the way. The bank is the delay. They are working it out. CBI is ready to go.

Question is don't banks earn interest over night on money they have on deposit? Also, thought govt paid them a fee as one who collects currency the govt wants/

jcnoble don't forget fractional banking where they are able to loan up to 10 times the amount of money they have on deposit. So if you add it up it is somewhat like mining gold for them!

The point is banks are not doing anything for nothing, they will make money on the exchanges….and when the banks "turn in" the foreign currency you exchanged, they can get more than what they gave you for it, which is why it's so important to STAY and NEGOTIATE as long as possible until you get a high rate that you can be very satisfied with. The bank isn't stupid

Like it was stated on our call, the bank will attempt to lowball us. Understand that banks are in the BUSINESS of MAKING MONEY. Don't take it personal, just be able to negotiate back because YOU TOO are in the business of MAKING MONEY.

No sweat. Just be smart and know what you want, and go for it. Remember this: you can ALWAYS WALK OUT with your currency and go to another bank. They do NOT want you to do that. Do not threaten to walk out, just simply and professionally state that if your bank is unable to offer me "X" for my exchange rate, I don't want to waste any more of your or my time here, thank them for their information and stand up.

If they really want to make money, they'll ask you to sit back down and "see what else they can do for you"

Maintain professionalism. Never raise your voice. Never act unbecoming. Always, always show politeness. Ultimately, YOU have the power to steer your ONE SHOT at negotiating, and the bank has the power to accept or reject. It's critical how YOU present yourself and your goals.

Blah blah blah I'm rambling, but only because I want EVERYONE to do this right and create generational wealth instead of being a flash in the pan typical overnight rich "toothless CH" that some THINK we are.
