The Minister of Planning, Dr. Nouri Sabah Al-Dulaimi, on Tuesday, facilitated the procedures in the investment and contracting sectors and completed transactions within 24 hours only, including the issuance of the identities of the contractors classification and renewal, which was three months.

Dr. Nuri al-Dulaimi, during a meeting with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, a delegation of trade union unions, confirmed the ministry's special program with companies and contractors aimed at providing facilities and activating the work of the private sector in all service areas.

Pointing out that the ministry will work on implementing the system in the coming days, in coordination with the ministries of trade, communications, labor and social affairs, and related parties in the private sector and trade unions, noting that the new procedures will include increasing the number of meetings of the classification committee, Companies and contractors, providing all smart supplies, to complete transactions within one day only.

For his part, the delegation expressed its sincere appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Planning and the procedures presented by the Minister during the meeting, stressing their active participation in supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Planning in implementing the strategy of developing the private sector.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Al-Sanafi, Chairman of the Contractors' Union, Mr. Jawad Al-Shuhaili, Head of the Iraqi Accountants Association, Mr. Alaa Shun, Head of the Chamber of Counsel of the Ministry of Planning, representing the Iraqi Bar Association and Dr. Hana Ismail, Director General of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Planning.
