The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers: The promotion of state employees shall be from the date of maturity and not from the date of the promotion order

The Legal Department of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the upgrading of State employees shall be from the date of maturity and not from the date of issue of the promotion order.

This comes as a result of the continuous follow-up of the Department with the Ministry of Finance, as amended its pillars No. (15818) on 17/7/2018, to become the following form (the employee's entitlement and promotion start from the date of maturity and not from the date of issuance of the promotion order), after the employee meets the conditions Upgrading all.

She explained that the amendment came because the employee does not bear the error of management in delaying the procedures for promotion, so it deserves to increase the date of maturity.

official source said Sunday that the Ministry of Finance approved the employee's salary increase from the date of his entitlement.

The source said in a brief statement to "Al-Gharab Press", "The Ministry of Finance agrees to calculate the duration of the employee's salary increase from the date of eligibility for promotion of the job, not from the date of issuance of the promotion order."

It is noted that the administrative procedures currently in force are calculated the financial and functional benefits of the employee as of the date of issuance of the administrative order for promotion, which often leads to the denial of the right of the employee due to a period of time to complete the procedures related thereto.
