The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the second annual report of the Anti-Money Laundering Council, while discussing the protection of a number of domestic products.
"The Cabinet held its regular session today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, and discussed many of the topics prepared for his agenda," the media office of the prime minister said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.
He added that "the Council approved the second annual report of the Council of Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing of 2018."
"The Council of Ministers decided to approve the draft law of the National Authority for Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical and Biological Control. The Council of Ministers also decided to cancel the Committee for Cooperation and Coordination between the Council of Ministers and Deputies, which is established by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 287 of 2017."
"The council agreed to approve the policy of integrating people with disabilities and the special needs of society, while discussing the protection of a number of local products and options between preventing some importer for specific periods of time or imposing fees," Abdul Mahdi said.
