The Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary, on Sunday, the activation of the Supreme Council for Reconstruction and Investment in Iraq to address the housing crisis and the phenomenon of slums in all governorates.

"The solution to the problem of housing does not require a law for slums or a law relating to the distribution of land plots to people with limited income, as mentioned in the Financial Budget Law of 2019," committee member Hamid al-Moussawi told Basnews.
