The Cabinet held its regular meeting in Baghdad on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi.
The Cabinet discussed mechanisms to ensure that draft bills reflect the key priorities of the Iraqi government for 2018-2022 and facilitate their implementation on the ground for the benefit of the Iraqi people.
The Cabinet reviewed progress in a number of suspended or incomplete projects, with a focus on schools and other educational facilities, and directed that all necessary measures be implemented to expediate completion.
The Cabinet approved an agreement to implement a map for the development of the electricity sector in Iraq in cooperation with Siemens Company.
