Foreign Minister: Summit meetings of neighboring countries of Iraq are the result of the return of normal life in the country

Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali al-Hakim said Monday that the summit meetings of Iraq's neighboring countries are the result of a return to normal life in the country after a humiliating defeat.
"Iraqi-Iranian relations are strategic, based on basic elements, including: partnership, commercial, cultural, security and common interests of both countries," al-Hakim said in a statement.
He pointed out that "the summit meetings of the neighboring countries of Iraq is the result of the return to normal life in Iraq after a defeat is urging."
"Iraq today is a meeting place for neighbors, brothers and brothers, and a new political weight in the region."
"We are working hard to bring Syria back to its seat in the Arab League, and the time has come for that," he said, pointing out that "the Golan is Syrian land, Syria will remain, and we respect the resolutions of the United Nations in Jerusalem and the Golan."
