issued the prime minister, Adel Abdul - Mahdi on Saturday, an administrative order to appoint the Minister of Youth and Sports former Abdul Hussain Abtan the post of representative to follow up on service projects in the country.
An informed source told Mawazine News that "Abdul Mahdi issued an administrative order appointing former Minister of Youth and Sports Abdul Hussein Abtan as the representative of the Prime Minister, to follow up the service projects in the country until he was granted the post of Secretary of Baghdad."
He added that "Abdul Mahdi is waiting for the whirlwind facing Abtan to issue an order entrusted with the functions of the Secretary of Baghdad," pointing out that "there is a parliamentary bloc opposed to the appointment of Abtan as the Secretary of Baghdad."
