BAGHDAD /

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Al Halbusi said during his participation in a symposium at the London-based Gatham House on Tuesday that Iraq is going through reconstruction and stability and there is no other way forward.

Al Halbusi, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation in London, attended a seminar organized by the Gatham House. The seminar discussed the most important challenges facing Iraq, its causes and the requirements of the next phase, and reviewed the most important challenges and requirements.

"The challenges need more joint action and efforts at the executive and legislative levels," Halaboussi said.

"The most important challenges facing the country now are weak services and employment opportunities for young people. Government jobs do not cover the number of graduates, with no opportunities in the private sector, which contributes to the spread of unemployment, indicating that we need pre-planned plans to provide Services and job opportunities ".

He added that "Iraq suffers from the problem of planning clearly: because of the accumulation of wars fought by Iraq against terrorism and extremist organizations, and must provide clear plans; to address administrative and financial corruption."

"There is cooperation between the three authorities in Iraq," he said. "We hope that we will succeed together in dealing with these issues. We are working to provide services to citizens and create job opportunities, as well as to provide an environment conducive to investment that will contribute to solving many problems."

During the symposium, Halabousi discussed the nature of the parties and alliances that formed the government, which are no longer limited to a specific sect and component, but rather a political program that the Speaker of the House of Representatives counted as a positive phenomenon that was strengthened after the war and urged to succeed.

He pointed out that "Iraq fought a fierce war on behalf of the whole world against an extremist organization, and most of its infrastructure has been destroyed, and the international community must meet its obligations to Iraq," stressing that "Iraq is going on reconstruction and stability and no other way before him, The international community is willing to help. The road will be shorter. "

"But I tell you that Iraq is going on anyway, and will win even if that support is delayed."
