A deputy for the axis confirms that Salim al-Jubouri is the closest candidate for the Ministry of Defense 243534534266346

MP of the National Axis bloc Muqtam al-Jumaili on Saturday that Salim al-Jubouri is the closest to submit his name to the House of Representatives as a candidate for the portfolio of the Ministry of Defense.

Al-Jumaili said in a statement that the national axis has submitted names exceeding the number of 12 candidates and the choice remains for the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.

He pointed out that the dialogues are still ongoing on the candidate of the defense portfolio after it dropped its candidate for the national Faisal Jarba vote, indicating that there are several candidates were submitted by the National Axis on the grounds that the position is the share of the Sunni component.

[rtl]The MP for the National Axis bloc Muqamam Jumaili increased the chances of Salim al-Jubouri in the post of Minister of Defense.[/rtl]
