BASRA, Iraq (Reuters) - Protest demonstrations resumed on Friday in front of Basra's provincial capital.
Dozens of demonstrators gathered in front of the building today, demanding the removal of the governor and members of the council.
Visual demonstrators have launched on social networking platforms, Hashtak demonstrations Friday anger of the mobilization of today's demonstrations, and the Hashtak received a wide response by the pioneers of communication sites.
"Demonstrations from now on should be angry and adopt new methods to pressure officials to encircle their homes and harass them and encircle them in official circles without harming public property," activists in publications and blogs said.

The same activists thanked and thanked the Commanders Brigade of the Basra Operations Command, the Directorate of the Basra Police Squads and the Najda Basra Police for not attacking any demonstrator."
Activists called on the police chief to "play a professional role, not a political one, so that his fate will not be like that of his predecessors."

Demonstrations in Basra
- Iraqi security forces used live ammunition and tear gas on Friday to disperse protesters who tried to break into the provincial council building in the southern city of Basra.
Riot police also used force last Friday to disperse demonstrators.
Around 250 people gathered outside the interim headquarters of the provincial council yesterday to protest corruption, demand jobs and improve public services. Protesters threw stones and empty bottles of water at the police.
By nightfall, some protesters had stormed the main entrance to the outer perimeter of the building and tried to storm it. There were no reports of casualties.
