BAGHDAD, Nov. 25 (Petra) - Iraq is the world's number one missing, with about a million people missing, according to the director-general of the International Committee on Missing Persons, Catherine Sisky.
During a meeting with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan al-Kaabi, Siski said that the ICRC views Iraq as the first country in the number of missing persons. We are dealing with a file containing between 250,000 and one million missing. He explained that it was necessary to organize and limit the information and organization of work and prepare a solid database on the fate of the missing from the wars that have occurred in Iraq for decades.
