Frequent warnings of the possibility of a military strike on Syria have led to a change in the air traffic movements of civil airlines passing through the Middle East.
Flight traffic monitored by the flight radar site for current civil and commercial flights around the world showed a total absence of flights over Syrian airspace.
Transient airlines from the Middle East have taken alternative routes over Iraqi, Egyptian and Jordanian airspace instead of Syrian airspace.
On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump published a tweet on his Twitter page saying that the missiles were coming to Syria, in reference to the imminent execution of a military strike.
The European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) called on airlines, to be cautious, in the eastern Mediterranean, the possibility of carrying out air and missile attacks in Syria.
