Central bank sales of foreign currency fall to $ 9 million

Economy News Baghdad :
The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign currency sales fell to $ 146.93 million from $ 155.53 million on Sunday, down 8.6 million dollars, the bank said in a statement .
The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 41 banks and 8 companies for financial transfer .
The bank said the sales were the result of the auction scheduled for Tuesday, explaining that the total sales for the day amounted to about 190.13 million dollars .
The volume of funds sold to strengthen bank balances abroad was about $ 145.16 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 1.77 million .
The Central Bank, in the statement, that the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be the same price
