A political source revealed on Saturday that the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr, excluded his political arm, governor of Zamili, the decision not to run in the upcoming elections.

The source said in a press statement, "Sadr excused Zamili governor of the decision not to stand for elections, which issued regarding the members of the Liberal bloc, which froze for four years."

According to the information received, the exclusion of al-Zamali al-Zamali, the fact that Zamili is the "political arm" of the Sadr, especially that Zamili was able over the previous years to build strong foundations facilitated the Sadrists and his leader to exploit the state and its security and financial institutions.
