Parliamentary Finance for «Economy News»: Discussions are raging about the share of the Kurdistan region in the budget of 2018

The parliamentary Finance Committee announced on Thursday that discussions are raging between the Finance Committee itself and the government on the move to reduce the share of the region or not, and expected to vote at the end of this month.

The committee member, Jabbar Abdul Khaliq said in an interview with "Economy News", "The discussions are still very heated about the share of the Kurdistan region of the budget for the year 2018, as well as many discussions on the nature of the classification of provincial quotas of the budget."

"The discussions may be extended to the budget law and is expected to be put to the House of Representatives during the current month and vote in the same month," pointing out that "the Committee is working in record time on auditing the doors of the budget and give priority to them other than other laws because of the lack of time to vote on her".
