Economy News Baghdad:
The World Bank on Thursday expressed its readiness to support Iraq to develop its economy and achieve development, while Prime Minister Haider Abadi announced his government's intention to support the private sector.
"The Prime Minister met with the Executive Director of the World Bank in the Arab region, Dr. Mirza Hassan and the accompanying delegation and discussed the two sides ways of cooperation between them at various levels," Abadi said in a press statement.
According to the statement, Abadi pointed to the government's intention to continue supporting the private sector, which contributes to revitalizing the economic process, praising the important role of the World Bank in preparing for the International Conference on Reconstruction in Kuwait.
On the other hand, the Executive Director of the World Bank in the Arab region, the readiness of the World Bank to support Iraq more than ever before to achieve further economic development and development.
