The Ministry of Planning revealed the close of the implementation of the survey of monitoring and evaluation of poverty in Iraq, which implemented in cooperation with the World Bank and lasted more than a month.

Al-Hindawi said that the survey and evaluation of poverty in Iraq, which will announce its results soon will reveal to us about the current rates of poverty after more than three years on the latest study, which showed that the proportion of poverty in Iraq reached in 2014 about 23% affected by shock and oil, Recorded a decline in poverty rates at the end of 2013 reached about 16% after the launch of the national strategy to alleviate poverty in Iraq 2010-2014 '.

He pointed out that 'the new indicators that will be shown in the survey will be for 2017 and will be used to guide the objectives of the national strategy to alleviate the second poverty, which has been completed by the Ministry for years and it is hoped to launch soon.
