Member of the parliamentary finance: the Committee did not agree to include the budget agenda of today's session

A member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Masoud Haider, Saturday, that the Committee did not agree to include the budget agenda of today's session, attributed the reason for the existence of a lot of observations on the budget by the political blocs.

Haider said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The Finance Committee did not agree to include the federal budget for fiscal year 2018 agenda of today's session," attributing the reason for "the existence of many observations by all political blocs."

"The budget has not allocated much of it to reconstruction, basic services, electricity, housing, education and health, in addition to not allocating any amount from the Iraqi state for reconstruction," he said. "What has been allocated is only 400 million dollars of loans."

He added that "the budget was not officially included in the meeting today because of the approval of the Finance Committee," ruling out "the convening of the parliament to read it."

The MP Haitham al-Jubouri announced, on November 29 last, the arrival of the draft law of the budget in 2018 to the House of Representatives, while confirmed Majda Tamimi that will read the first reading in an extraordinary session of parliament on Saturday.
