Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Monday called for Swedish companies to contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq's infrastructure, while Swedish Ambassador to Baghdad Puntz Melander said his government would start a program to support Iraq early next year with $ 23 million a year.

"The Swedish government will start a program to support Iraq in cooperation with the Iraqi government early next year to provide $ 23 million annually over a period of five years," he said.
