Several months ago Nash, Ssmith and I did a conference call where we stated emphatically that the liberation of Mosul would have zero effect on the value of the IQD. The gurus were all saying that it would be a turning point and we should see the RV shortly after Mosul was freed, so we did the video to counter the hype and we were right. We were also right that when there was no RV the gurus would look for other benchmarks to point people to. The bottom line here is that the dinar's value isn't determined by these factors. It's determined by the dinar's money supply and their foreign currency reserves, and their policy of exchange rate stability. As long as that's the case the dinar will remain below 1/10 of a penny.

It seems like the gurus always put a spin on anything to generate "interest" and promote their wares and ideas.  Personally I have also found that the gurus will take a holiday (for example) and quote Dr. S as saying that the RV will happen when the banks have been close like for a long holiday.  Or they will take an election and say that this one or that one will bring the currency more value.  Or they talk about floating the rate.  Seems like they can not setle on one thing that actually happens or is true about the state of the IQD.  Guess it is time to ignore the gurus (if you haven't already done so) and just peruse the blog(s) as a form of entertainment.  That value changes almost daily!!!  lol.

that is true. if alaks camel passes gas the gurus will say its a sign the rv is ready. the bottom line is there are many fools out in dinar land that will believe  anything they say it is truly sad. if you want a back wall of hope you have to wait till end of dec or beginning of  jan when the budget of the new year starts. if you remember shabbs even stated this
