A question is there a way to turn this thing off by the consumer I currently have my text set to notify me when a text comes in because of all the pre RV material but I don't want to have every advertising text to ring is there a way to turn off some and turn on others?

On one side it is a negative response - - on the other it is a justifiable concern

I had just spent 2 ½ hours attempting to put an end of unwanted emails. Having to open each one (Which could install a virus just by opening) clicking on “unsubscribe” (Which by the I Did Not subscribe to in the first place) Hoping that by doing so the sender will Honor the selection. Many Times to the sender it is a signal that the email is a good one and one to send more “Unwanted garbage”

If someone has a way to do a mass “unsubscribe” selection of emails “without” opening feel free to let me know where I can find it.

There many who do not sign up or are on a very limited service for their cell. Do these notifications cause additional charges to the receiving device or use up/reduce the amount of time that the limited service provides

It is easy to say, “just ignore” or “delete” – there are other considerations.

As in does this notification cause the cell to “sound-off” when it arrives

I would not be a happy camper if I happen to be “on call” (repair-doctor) and have to interrupt my activity unnecessarily

I, for one, do not want my cell going off, because of some sales ad, when I am expecting an important call

As a former IT field tech, I am well aware that there are 100’s – 1000’s of people working to create devices that will enhance their bottom line by providing a way/tool to increase the bottom line of others

It is called progress

I hope that when these ways/devices are brought to market that they also include a way, for those who feel it is an unwanted intrusion, a way/method to Opt out

Note: Yes I do have an Android phone
And No I do not receive notifications outside of my service provider and then very seldom (Thank goodness!)
