Said the Kurdistan Democratic Party secretary Fadhil Mirani, on Thursday, that the status of the region need to agree and everyone must work in order to reach an agreement, adding that if the Erbil agreement with Baghdad, Kurdistan does not need a referendum to declare independence.
Mirani's comments came during a press interview in which stressed that Kurdistan is seeking an agreement with Baghdad, pointing out that in case of reaching an agreement, it will not come back to the need to hold a referendum, as he put it.
