EU allocates $ 114 million for the relief of displaced Iraqis
Iraqi Minister of Immigration says that financial assistance will be disposed of by the European Union mission in Baghdad in coordination with its partners, who are in the country.

Camps lack the most basic necessities of life
BAGHDAD - The European Union decided Monday, to grant emergency financial assistance to Iraq, worth 104 million euros (114.5 million dollars), for "relief to the displaced living harsh humanitarian conditions."
The decision came during a meeting in Baghdad, which included a delegation from the European Union, headed the European Commissioner for humanitarian aid and crisis management, Christos Stylianides, and Minister of Displacement and Migration, Jassim Mohammed.
The Iraqi minister said, at a joint news conference after the meeting, said that the EU will provide emergency financial assistance to Iraq worth 104 euros for relief to the displaced, are disposed of by the European Union mission in Baghdad and in coordination with its partners, who are in the country.
Turning meeting Monday to support the union, the government and the ministry for my return and stability (of displaced people), and Iraqi refugees in EU countries and the coordination mechanism between the two sides to find the necessary solutions to the asylum seekers in EU countries.
He described the "Stellanides," challenges facing the government and the Union Mission in the relief process of displaced families from the city of Mosul during editing operations, as "immense."
He expressed the readiness of the mission to provide the necessary support to the ministry, in coordination with teams and stakeholders, to ensure the daily necessities of life in the camps for the displaced, which include electricity, water and sanitation and for other services.
According to the international organization, he said that dealing with the humanitarian crisis that would result from it require $ 284 million to prepare the necessary aid and up to $ 1.8 billion to deal with the consequences.
Last week, a meeting of donor countries in Washington, which pledged $ 2.1 billion for Iraq, for the relief of displaced persons and reconstruction of areas devastated by the war.
Save up to 3.5 million Iraqis from violence and fighting between Iraqi forces and the terrorist organization Islamic state, toward safer areas inside the country, and are living in camps often lack the necessities of life.
Iraq is facing great difficulties in the reconstruction of areas recovered from the organization in preparation for the re-population, as a result of the weakness of the material resources resulting from the drop in oil prices and rising costs of the war.
