...YES...It is the CBI and the banks within Iraq that will begin the process of settling foreign remittances (bills) using the value of the IQD, instead of the current letters of credit that are in USD. Many of these countries are already trading with Iraq in USD. The change to IQD will be initiated by the CBI...not parliament.

Currently...the IMF, WB have been working hand in hand with the CBI and the banks within Iraq for the sole purpose of Iraq (its banking system) to enter the global economy market.

Once Iraq makes the move to IMF Article 8, then those banks outside of the region...those not familiar with Iraq...will be more likely to do business with them.

As to the value...that is debatable...and not so debatable in the opinion of some...

but, back on September 27, 2011...Shabibi, Saleh and Abadi spoke about the value of the IQD being within reason of the region... compatible.

Ramadan is celebrated inside of Iraq, as with all Muslin countries.

A change in the value of the IQD takes place outside of Iraq. When that happens the value of the IQD inside of Iraq is still 1 IQD = 1 IQD...no change.

IMO, Ramadan has nothing to do with the eventual change in the IQD.

Ever notice when we get close to the end of the week and nothing happens, these assholes ALWAYS say it will be another month, maybe 4-7 months, but it WILL happen? And then when that time frame comes to a close, it is always another reason for it not coming to fruition?They always need to stretch it out and keep dragging everyone a little further- Why is this shit being told here anyway? It never comes to fruition- We just don't need the lies anymore, what's it gonna take to eradicate these idiots from here permanently? I'm sure 99% of the peeps are aware of the 'quicksand' they've gotten themselves into-

Well Chaz many Christmases have expired since this started and still not RV AND the guru misinformation train is still choo chooing down the tracks. Hope is one thing, reality is yet another. I would be truly surprised if this EVER goes. AT this point I have the utmost hope that the dealers and gurus all are investigated, prosecuted, tried and are spending their Christmas in JAIL.

Any hope that we would see any of our money back is a fantasy yet to be realized. It probably would be listed a one of the 8 wonders of the world (I know there are supposed to be only 7) if we in fact did realize a return of even a portion of our missed dream fork over.

Hope springs eternal.
