Iraqi officials say Iran will stimulate world economy

Baghdad, Jan 17, IRNA – Head of Iraqi Chamber of Commerce, Fazel al-Hamdami said on Sunday that Iran will stimulate the world economy and that the world will witness Iranian powerful presence in global economy in the wake of lifting the sanctions.

Speaking to IRNA, he said that Iraq will benefit from the great achievement and the entire region will enjoy the breakthrough of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Iran possesses significant industrial and economic capabilities in the region and that Iran would use such potentials to help economic development in the regional countries, he said.

Thanks to the high technology available in Iran, the skilled workforce and scientific capabilities, Iran can turn into an economic pole in the world, he said.

Iraq is now preparing grounds to make use of current developments to broaden economic relations with Iran, he said.

He invited the Iraqi investors to seize the opportunity and invest in lucrative business activities.
