The dollar won't crash, but things will be challenging as China takes over the role of reserve currency after joining the SDR basket next year.

[chuck60] As dollar devalues, cost of import goods goes up. So some of the things you purchase on a daily basis will go up in price, if these goods are imported. Dollar will still be a dollar, but it won't buy quite as much.
