Thought you all would enjoy this, though it only goes to 2012, something worth going hmmmmm over! sent to me from a fellow dinarian that loves to research the IMF site alot. saw this post and passed it on to me. So, i will pass it on to you all for your trivia and enjoyment!

here is the statement and link. The link is valid the statement is misleading in that it applies to Iraq not the world. I am sure that info is also in the IMF website but I don't know how to find it.

Logos12:...was kinda bored waiting on the RV so I looked up the following stats on the IMF website

Since 1985 according to the IMF website:

100% of all RV's where the value has changed over $0.50 have occurred on a Wednesday

100% of all RV's since 1985 have occurred in April or September

73% of all RV's have occurred on April 30th

55% of all RV's have occurred on a Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday

45% of all RV's have occurred on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Whats the most popular day of the week....

Sunday 8%

I thought that there has never been an actual RV before...that Kuwait was close but not exactly?

I REALLY DON'T KNOW IF IT DID OR NOT. IN MY RESEARCH I HAVE SEEN BOTH SIDES, ONE SAYS IT DID, THE OTHER SAYS IT DID NOT. HOWEVER HERE IS AN ARTICLE THAT IS NOT FROM A DINAR SITE, SO WHO REALLY KNOWS. I DON'T TRUST ANY OF THE MEDIA AT ALL.

The link provided is ONLY Iraq, Given the fact that there were only two times the exchange rate changed by $.50 or more, and one of them was a Friday, the information is not only statistically invalid, it is factually incorrect.
