Shows what you know. I know a general (west point grad) who says
"orientate", a phd of business who says "Infer" when he means "Imply",
a U.S. president who always said "Nucular" when he meant "Nuclear",
and a global economist who says "Liabous" when he means "Libelous".
And English is all of their first languages. So if a banker whose first language is arabic uses the word "Configurate" I don't think that it makes
the original post false. However, you did say "most people" so I suppose you were leaving room for the quote to be direct and possibly also
accurate.
