Iraqi forces kill ISIS commander of Aziz-Balad, 32 ISIS elements

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a source within the police force said, that a senior ISIS leader has been killed along with 32 ISIS elements in clashes with the Iraqi security forces in south of Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “In the late hours of yesterday, Iraqi security forces clashed with a group of ISIS militants in Aziz-Balad in south of Tikrit. The clashes resulted in killing the ISIS commander in the district, known as Ghalib al-Hamidi alongside 32 elements of his militant group.”
Noteworthy, Salahuddin province witnesses constant clashes between Iraqi forces and ISIS militants who have seized large expanses of territories in the provinces of Salahuddin, al-Anbar and Nineveh.
