Sorry - been otherwise engaged in my life as caretaker of an animal sanctuary! Covered in mud and less mentionable substances. Will post a poem pronto. (That's alliteration, that is!)

I am proud to work for the ABC Animal Sanctuary. I am actually the only paid employee (and that, only since April this year when the trustees appointed me.) We survive on a shoestring budget and many willing volunteers. Founded by the actress Alexandra Bastedo who some of you may remember from a 1960s British TV series "The Champions". Sadly she died in January this year, but the sanctuary carries on.
