Abadi discusses with security leaders plans and procedures to control the security situation

BAGHDAD / NINA/ Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi held a meeting on Wednesday with the security leaders, to discuss plans and procedures to control the security situation in the country and the liberation of the rest of the areas controlled by the IS and defeat it.

A statement by the Information Office of the Prime Minister said that "the security leaders presented to Abadi, a review of security conditions in the country and the movements of the armed forces to control the land and liberated it from the IS.

The statement added that "al-Abadi blessed at the beginning of the meeting, the victories achieved by the armed forces and the popular mobilization and all the troops stationed in the fight against the IS, calling for exerting efforts in order to achieve victory.

Abadi displayed his vision and strategy to control the security situation taking place in Iraq, noting that "the security challenge represents the most important challenges facing the country, and we will seek through this new strategy and the cooperation of everyone to return the security back to our country in spite of the many difficulties that we face.

The Prime Minister urged the security forces to be eager to citizens and deal with them according to human rights, calling on citizens at the same time to cooperate with the security forces and help them to perform their duties and to maintain the security of the country and the safety of his sons ./End
