No it's not the Iraqi budget deadline.

It's the full moon eclipse. Some folks wanted a reminder. It starts 1 am Eastern April 15th and ends 3 or 4 hrs later.

I don't know if I will be able to see it. We have rain forecasted and right now we have some bad tornado type winds that have come up from somewhere.

OK Dinarians...we have another chance.

If you missed it Tuesday, there will be more opportunities.
North America will see a blood moon four times -- known as a tetrad -- between now and September of next year. In addition to Tuesday, it will make another appearance on October 8 of this year, and April 4 and September 28 of next year.
Miss those, and you'll have to wait until 2032.

It actually scares the living crap out of me as I have a fear of heights. But I do appreciate people's choice of hobby's. Just like people find my choice of hobby's not for them.

Hey guys! Yes I got to see it because it started at 5.45pm here, I was actually on my way home and saw it, it was huge and bloody RED,how bout that! We watched it for the next 1 and a half I guess until it had compeltely eclipsed, we even ate dinner on our front verandah so we could watch it, we have the best view of the moon from our place, it's almost like it rises right in the kitchen LOL! It was pretty awesome!!

GG it feels like freedom in the air like when a bird flies. Fear of heights is referenced to a stationary object. Jumping out of a plane one is always in constant motion and the feeling of falling is not there. But it is what it is.

A. Because our bodies are anatomically different.

B. We need to keep ourselves alive to pro-create and therefore don't put our lives in danger.

C. Women are smart.

GG, no I know a lot of women skydivers and some even jumped till their 8th month of pregnancy. Yep just depends on the lady. :yes: I will never force anyone to jump as I used to put students out of planes and after putting over 1000 students out I had only one who refused. No biggie it was the students wish and I honored it. :yes:

My 2nd youngest daughter is a certified rock climbing instructor, not to mention a licensed guide. She and her husband are also avid and very proficient mountain biker. No fear of heights, never had any, but to my knowledge she has not jumped out of any planes yet. However our bookwormish youngest daughter who was always the artistic, sensitive one has ... go figure.

Well that being said I live within view of Pikes Peak and see it every morning from my bedroom window. I've climbed it numerous times ans love the excitement of the climb.
