I agree too much BS cause there is nothing out there that hasn't already been said. I say move on with our lives and let it happen when it happens and be surprised and joyful.  

I hear where you are coming from, but I think we provide an important service here. We stand alone in that we provide a counter to the falsehood and lies put out by others. Oh, I know there are other sites that act in similar ways, but I find everyone of them offensive in some way, personal attacks, condescending attitudes, almost abusive in their behavior. As far as I have ever seen, we are the only ones that do so in a environment that allows, even encourages active participation, and a safe place for free expression of thoughts and opinions.

      

You know what Ponee. I have been getting frustrated with it as well.  I can normally take it (have for years) but for some reason since the last part of March something has changed in me.

I thought at first it was me but I see it all over the sites.  I don't know if it has something to do with the lies, guru's and BS articles or if things are changing.

Not to get too freaky out there (and I am glad I have one member on ignore that I can't read his/her response to when they see this) is that we have 2 major eclipses happening this month.  The first one is April 15th and I have noticed myself getting edgy with it as well as some others I know.  Eclipses bring about change. It's all about throwing out the old and starting new.  What this means is, if you have been ignoring something or putting it on the back burner and have not moved forward in some way in your life, the universe will make that happen with this eclipse. Either that week or in the coming month afterwards.

So, that's my 2 cents.

Some of it's good stuff Ponee. The guru's yes is crap. But the news stuff is good to read. If nothing else it gives us a chance to discuss or debate it.  Some other sites don't let you debate is nicely. They slam or banned you if you are not following the all mighty leader or they are living with their heads in the clouds and not responding to the points that some people make. They just post...GO RV.

I think if we can get through April (eclipses and elections) we might see a different light next month. Not making predictions just saying that it's a difficult time right now.
Keep in mind this is affecting everyone. Not just people who follow astrology.  Whether you read it or not you will still go through the changes of the eclipses.

As for the Middle East. They follow it religiously.  So you can imagine how they feel about what they need to do this month will all the planetary changes they have to deal with. Wouldn't want to be running for election this month.  No wonder Maliki is loosing sleep.

Are you kidding?  Anytime after 12 noon is ok.  I think I had my first glass around 3 pm while watching a movie.   

I agree, I see no way that we cannot "graduate" and still carry the torch that Kevin talks about.  There could be all sorts of different areas like Home, garden, politics, tons of things, The site got here by evolving and can easily survive evolving yet again.

The best views will be from the entire North and South American continents and much of the Pacific Basin, including Hawaii. Eastern Australia should get to see the second half of the show on the night of April 15, as the moon rises during totality.
Europe, Africa, and central Asia, meanwhile, will miss the entire eclipse because it will be daytime in those regions at the time of the event.

When's the best time to look?



The entire eclipse will last over three and a half hours, starting at 1:58 a.m. EDT (April 15) or 10:58 p.m. PDT (April 14) when the moon begins to plunge into the umbra, the darkest center of our planet's shadow.

The best part of eclipse will be during totality, starting at 3:07 a.m. EDT (12:07 a.m. PDT) and lasting 78 minutes. After that, Earth's shadow begins to leave the surface of the moon.
"The most spectacular part of the event for me is watching a slow progression of the moon changing color," explains Samra.
"It will start off with the very familiar white but then progressively become fainter and then turn a deep red before emerging out of the Earth's shadow and returning to its familiar white color."





There is some confusion as to when you should start watching the total lunar eclipse – known as a blood red moon – that is listed as occurring on April 15, 2014. Actually, in most places where it will be visible, you should start watching on April 14 – that’s Monday evening!
The confusion around the timing is because the official times listed for the eclipse are based on Eastern Daylight Time – even though the best viewing of the eclipse will be west of that time zone. So – officially – the eclipse’s start time is just before 1 a.m. EDT on April 15. Got that, New Yorkers? (Actually, NYC and the Eastern time zone as a whole is not the greatest spot to be trying to watch the eclipse; it is right on the eastern edge of the viewing area.)
But if you are watching in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Honolulu, etc, the eclipse starts before midnight on what is still Monday evening, April 14. To be clear: For L.A., and other points in the Pacific time zone, the eclipse will begin and reach totality just at the stroke of midnight on Monday night, and then continue into the wee hours of Tuesday morning!

You won’t see much for the first hour, but then into the second and third hours, the moon will darken gradually until it becomes a totally reddish disk. Then the process starts to wane, and about two to three hours later, it will be over.
The eclipse will be visible in much of the Western Hemisphere, including North America, Central America, the western half of South America and the islands of the Pacific Ocean*.
Why does the moon appear red? It has to do with the bending of light rays in the atmosphere. Eclipses occur when the Earth moves exactly between the Moon and the Sun; the Earth’s shadow covers the Moon. Most light is blocked, but some red bounces past, and seems to project itself, like a sunrise or sunset, coloring the Moon.
“The exact color that the moon appears depends on the amount of dust and clouds in the atmosphere,” according to NASA scientists. “If there are extra particles in the atmosphere, from say a recent volcanic eruption, the moon will appear a darker shade of red.

I agree. The spring winds of change bought in a lot of restlessness this season. I see it in my animals. One of my dogs wants out, no i want in, no i want out, no i want in. I stopped going to recaps site a few months ago. I thought i would miss it and i can report that i haven't missed it at all. In fact, it was making me sad to read the comments, so that was a positive move on my part to stop going to that site and getting exposed to that ignorant energy.

Here are my ideas that may not fly.
We could have no guru Saturday. nothing gets posted about gurus, from gurus on Saturday. Ie. they do not occupy one cell in our body on Saturday. We drink wine and have a 2 hour chat with each other and discuss other stuff. There are many smart people on this site who I would like to know what they think about certain topics. We could set the topics before. Here is an example. People constantly refer to bible predictions (blood moon is another example) but this economic event (lol) is in a predominantly muslim country.

Personally, I would prefer to never read anything on this site from Poppy, TerryK or BluWolf. save my vision. Who really cares. There are liars, then there are bigger liars.

I think Okie may drink too much, because his chats and posts seem to come between Thursday night and  Saturday night, usually Saturday. He lost me 3 years ago saying the lower denoms were on the street, but could not get a camera phone shot and also that it RV'd and got mad at people asking for proof. So i suggest we only post Okie on Tuesday. i.e. post his Saturday night crap post 3 days later for a giggle. So Okie Tuesday. 

Tony, hopefully will be taken care of in 2 weeks. But God forbid, if he is still in the picture, only post him 1x a week, maybe Tony thursday. 

Now, here is what i am excited about.
Remember the movie The Secret? There was a chiropractor on it. drjoedispensa.com is his website. He has books, tapes, meditation cd's. 
In the movie, the Secret,  he talked about his morning prayer. I started doing it and it really, really works. So i started emailing back and forth with him. He is the real deal. Now fast forward to today. He is now a big deal. He has written several books. (his last book was called breaking the habit of being yourself) He teaches seminars that are really great if you are into that sort of thing. He has a new book coming out the end of this month that you can preorder on Amazon now called "you are the placebo".  It should be great!!!! Today he has a free 2 hour with Jeffrey Fannin, who i also know.  Listen to this and see what you think.
P.S. I have planned to watch the blood moon on Tuesday night with family. Why not, i love that sort of thing.

Some good ideas, but not gonna watch either one, not buying what Dr. Joe is selling, and not staying up to the wee hours of the AM here in New England to see the eclipse. I have to get up for work in the morning. If I happen to wake up then, I might take a peek out the windows.

As for Dr. Joe, I have not read or looked at his site. He got a break with the movie. It's all marketing and if you can afford it you can be anybody and the next "saviour (spelled the Canadian way) to helping people through troubled times. Hell if I had someone to market me I wouldn't be watching for the RV.
